Sieve the chickpea flour. Its an important step to get rid of the lumps. Dont skip. Add in the veggies and the spices. Dump them all. Add in 2/3 cups water and mix well with a wooden spoon until a smooth batter forms.

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida (Hing), Optional
  • 2/3 cup water

    Hi kannamma,this is an excellent recipe fr any tym snack….I wondered if I keep on testing recipes fr r taste wht wil the youngr ones do….but tis is one such dish fr them….I hv tastd tis in my home town long bck…but I was confused hw cum thy can implant the taste of egg without adding egg…but nw I got the answr…thnk u
