Thai style stir fry vegetables

Easy Recipe for Thai style stir-fried vegetables. Vegetables stir fried in oyster and soy sauce. Popularly called as Pad pak ruam in Thailand. Recipe with step by step pictures.

For the Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon palm sugar
  • 3 sliced Thai red chillies

For the Stir-Fry

  • 1/2 teaspoon peanut oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 4 Cups Veggies
  • 34 Thai basil leaves
  • 2 sprigs spring onions, finely chopped

Instructions

For the Sauce:

  1. Take a small bowl and add in a tablespoon of oyster sauce and a teaspoon of soy sauce. Add in couple of tablespoon of water, a teaspoon of palm sugar and sliced chillies.

For the Stir-Fry

  1. Place a pan or a wok on high heat. Add in a little oil. Add in chopped garlic and saute for a few seconds.
  2. Add in the veggies (hard veggies first) and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add in the sauce and saute well so the veggies coat well in sauce. Cook for 2-5 minutes to your liking.
  4. Finish off with a sprinkle of thai basil leaves and spring onions.
